One the games that I regularly use to relax is the Wizard of Oz‐magic Match which is a match‐three puzzle game based off of the movie The Wizard of Oz and is available for free on iOS and Android. The game which was recently updated February on has gotten about 5,000,000 ‐ 10,000,000 downloads.
If you have updated yours, you'll notice that there's been some new items and changes like prizes, rewards, new levels, regions etc. And this article is meant to give you some tips, hints, and tricks to help you get through the levels with ease.
#1. There is no Limited Limited Time But Limited Moves
One of the things I love about this game is that you have all the time in the world to
complete each level. But while the time allowed is limitless, you might want to
know that there is a limited number of moves you're to make so as to complete each
level and move on to the next.
So if you've been playing or if you're familiar with match‐three puzzle games, you'll
know a lot of them do have time limits, but with no limited time in Wizard of OZ
Magic Match, you get to take your time, calm down, calculate your moves and make
every one them count
No time limit also makes the game more fun because you have no reason to rush or
make moves without strategizing and thinking them.
#2 Never Loose Sight of the Game Objective(s)
Remeber the time is unlimted but the moves aren't, and with the limited moves,
comes a specific target of score you are expected to reach, (for instance: use 4
moves to score 9,000 points). So try as much as possible to use this limted moves,
because while enjoying the game, you might easily forget the objective of the game.
#3. Focus on Making More Than Three Matches in One Move
By defaut the Wizard of Oz: Magic Match is a 3‐match game, meaning that you have
to vertically or horizontally match at least 3 similar coulurs to mak a score. So while
reminding you that you have limited moves, it is also imortant to remeber that you
will have a higher chances of successfully completing the level before you run out of
moves, by making sure you nail more than 3 matches in one move.
Another reason / advantage of making more than 3 matches in a move is that by
making up to match four, five, or six pieces you end up getting special bonuses,
boosters, and items.
#4. Use Glinda The Good Witch
If you are familiar with the movie/ story of Wizard of OZ, you will know one the
magical witch characters called Glinda, the good witch of the North. Glinda can
really help you if you get into a pickle lke running out of moves when you've not hit
your target yet. She will will make her presence known because you will see magic
stars on the game level board. Glinda's magic bar/meter will begin to fill up if you
match the stars together.
#5. Know The Magic Butterflies
Magic butterflies comes to live when you make a match of four (in a square form)
and they will be in the colour in which the match was made. The Butterflies will
come out and land on your super items and then it will activate those items,
depending on the board level, this could be very helpful to you.
